The Ceramic Wool Blanket is composed of long, flexible, interwoven fibers manufactured by the "blown" and the "spun" process yielding a strong, lightweight yet durable blanket for applications in a temperature range from 538°C (1000°F ) to 1480°C (2700°F).
Nutec Fibratec* Blanket has the heat resistance of a hard refractory with five times better insulation value, low weight and the flexibility of a refractory wool.
Nutec Fibratec* modules are designed to meet a wide variety of applications in insulation exposed to high temperatures. These compressed modules are manufactured with Nutec Fibratec* blankets in their various compositions.
Nutec Fibratec* modules are installed simply and quickly, they minimize heat losses and increase productivity while reducing maintenance costs.
Nutec Fibratec* Board is a light-weight refractory material produced from silica-alumina fibers for application temperatures of up to 1538 C (2800 F).
Nutec Fibratec* board features excellent insulating properties and is specially designed to withstand high-speed gas flows. It is ideally suited for heater chimneys, ductwork and furnaces, due to its low thermal conductivity and low heat storage, allowing for shorter burning cycle times and quick access for maintenance.
Nutec Fibratec* 2600 Seal Coat may be applied into refractory joints and cracks to seal against thermal loss, infiltration particulates and hot spot repar coating over hard refractory or ceramic surfaces to improve thermal efficiency and lining resistance to hot gas erosion. In addition may be applied to a steel shell in place of insulating board, prior to the installation of the refractory working lining.
Nutec Fibratec* bulk and ground ceramic wool are produced from alumina and silica and are therefore chemically inert fibers. These fibers feature excellent chemical stability and corrosion attack resistance..
Bulk wools are long and flexible, feature high refractory properties and are produced through the Blown and Spun processes. These fibers are utilized as the basis for producing the blanket, moldable, boards and special vacuum-formed parts.
Nutec Fibratec* Special Shapes are available in a wide variety of shape configurations. These shapes are processed form alumina silica fibers for applications at temperature up to 1537°C (2800 °F).
To match Nutec Fibratec* Special Shapes to specific applications, material compositions can be varied with different fillers and chemicals to produce special characteristics such as high strength, density and molten metal non-wettability.
Nutec Fibratec* Rigidazer is applied to the surface of Nutec Fibratec* Blanket, or other high temperature ceramic wool by spraying or brushing. After air-drying, Nutec Fibratec* Rigidizer firms-up the refractory ceramic wool, giving it tougher, more abrasion resistant characteristics. It is normally applied after the ceramic wool is installed.
Nutec Fibratec* Rigidizer, is shipped in 5 gallon plastic drums. One gallon of Rigidizer covers approximately 50 square feet brushed or 100 square feet when sprayed.
Nutec Fibratec* Paper, is a lightweight refractory material processed from a blend of high purity alumina-silica fibers into a highly flexible, uniform sheet. It is recommended for continuous use at temperatures up to 1600°C (3000 °F).
Nutec Fibratec* Paper, has low shrinkage, good handling strength, and low thermal conductivity. It contains a small amount of organic binder for processing which makes it flexible, yet reduces off-gassing and odor during use. Our product has a highly uniform structure due to its controlled basis weight and thickness, assuring homogeneous thermal conductivity and a clean, smooth surface ideal for gasketing or sealing.
Nutec Fibratec Anchoring systems provide a wide range of choices for fastening ceramic fiber in products such as Nutec Fibratec blankets, boards and modules. They are intended to provide optimum performance and allow for proper insulation installation.
All the anchorings are available in a variety of metal alloy grades as well as various ceramic compositions.
Nutec Fibratec* Textiles a service temperature range of up to 1,260°C (2,300°F). These products feature excellent resistance to: Thermal shock, corrosion, delamination due to mechanical vibration, stress.
Nutec Fibratec textile products forms are unique high temperature fabrics usable in a wide variety of industrial applications. This are made from staple Nutec Fibratec bulk fiber and 15-20% organic fiber as a carrier fiber. A blend of long staple fibers and organic carrier fibers, Nutec Fibratec* textiles are excellent choice where a flexible, strong temperature resistant product is required.
Is a prefabricated insulation system for use in high-temperature industrial furnaces, pot covers, furnace doors and other applications. Nutec Fibratec macro-module is a pre-fabricated module consisting of continuous ceramic fiber blanket folded and anchored on a deployed mesh structure.
Are designed to withstand the rough usage conditions of a steel Pot Lid. This product offers a performance superior to that of hard refractory brick pot lids due to the properties of ceramic wool.
Nutec Fibratec Supermag* blanket is a high temperature body soluble fiber that utilizes a unique spinning technology to create a special fiber with superior thermal and mechanical properties. This special fiber is made from a blend of calcium, silica and magnesium having the ability to support maximum short term exposure temperatures up to 1200°C
Nutec Fibratec Supermag* products are produced in our ISO-9001:2000 certified facility where bulk, double needled blanket and modules are manufactured. The Nutec Fibratec Supermag* family of products can be used in a variety of applications including refractory linings, thermal insulation, metals transfers and fire protection.
Nutec Fibratec installs a full range of ceramic wool insulation choices such as layers of blanket, modules, macro-modules and special linings.
Installation services are available for all kind of industrial furnaces such as ceramic type, metal hat treatment furnaces, petrochemical heaters and many other applications.
